Sumer Ice Pops!

The sun is scorching hot, you are running after your little ones and you and your children can both use a refreshing summer treat. How about some fruity ice pops?! These pops are loaded with flavor and are sure to be loved by both adults and kids! Ice pops are great not only because of they taste good, but because they help you rehydrate, keep you cool in the summer heat, and a great teething remedy for babies! 

Plus, we added a special ice pop just for mama at the end! It is a strawberry daquiri ice pop (contains alcohol). Please enjoy responsibly!

Watermelon Mint Ice Pop

Makes 6 Ice pops

Ingredients:

·       5 cups cubes seedless watermelon

·       1 Tbsp fresh mint leaves chopped

·       1 Tbsp Freshly squeezed lime juice

·       1 Tbsp sweetener of choice – optional 

Instructions:

  • Add the cubed watermelon, fresh mint, lime juice, and sweetener to a blender. 

  •  If your using a powdered sugar (such as stevia) dissolve it into hot water before adding it into the blender.

  •  Blend until its well pureed.

  • Pour the liquid into a popsicle mold

  •  Freeze overnight

Fresh Fruit Ice Pop

Ingredients:

  •   Assorted fresh fruit

  •  Grapes

  •   Blueberries

  •  Apple

  •  White grape juice (can cut with water if too sweet)

Instructions:

·       Cut the fruit into small cubes

·       Place a handful of each fruit into each popsicle mold.

·       Fill the mold with white grape juice

·       Freeze overnight 

 

Dried Fruit Ice pop

Ingredients:

  • Assorted dried fruit (Apricots, Apple, Craisins, Prunes)

  •  White grape juice (can cut with water if too sweet)

Instructions:

·       Cut up the dried fruit into small cubes

·       Place a handful of each fruit into each popsicle mold.

·       Fill the mold with white grape juice

·       Freeze overnight

 

Kiwi Lime Ice Pop

Ingredients: 

·       7 kiwis- peeled and diced 

·       1 ½ cup pineapple juice (no added sugar)

·       2 Tbsp lime juice

·       1 Tbsp sweetener of choice

Instructions:

·       Add the diced kiwis, pinapple juice, lime juice, and sweetener to the blend

·       Blend until completely smooth.

·       Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds

·       Freeze overnight


Strawberry Daquiri Ice Pop (contains alcohol, please enjoy responsibly)

Ingredients:

·       1 lb strawberries

·       Juice of one lime

·       ½ cup rum

·       ½ cup maple syrup or agave

Instructions:

·       Add strawberries, lime juice, rum, and maple syrup to a blender

·       Blend until smooth

·       Pour mixture into popsicle molds 

·       Freeze overnight
