This is for you, mama

Hey, mama. Have you been hard on yourself lately? A little birdie told me you may have forgotten your worth.

No matter how you feel at times, you’re a great mom! It’s normal for insecurities to get the best of you when you’re not feeling so good, but know these are just thoughts. Thoughts that don’t have to hold any meaning!

3 Reminders You May Need

  • Your kids love you for you. They love the way you play with them, hug them, feed them, tell them bed-time stories. They love you no matter what.

  • Your kids don’t care if your body changes. Their bodies are constantly changing too, you know.

  • It’s normal to feel overwhelmed. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help when you need it. Even 30 minutes to yourself can really help!

Being a mom is one of the most exhausting, yet rewarding jobs ever! That doesn't mean you have to act like the “perfect mom” at all times. It’s ok if you don’t want to make your kids breakfast everyday. It’s ok if you serve them frozen nuggets instead of veggies. It’s ok if you don’t take them to the park as much as you’d like, and it’s ok if you let them watch TV a lot.

Even on your bad days, you’re trying your best. Thank you to the moms reading this that struggle with their insecurities, but still do all they can for their children everyday!
